Very interesting and well done video. However, it does leave out some of the political aspects, such as the Community Reinvestment Act of the late 1970s requiring lending institutions to make more risky loans (to remove a discriminatory barrier against poor people wanting housing). And, some recent denials of key congressmen that Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac were sound (don’t fix what is not broke).
