and dude I thought I was ghetto as a child for using trash can lids to slide down hills…. According to my coworker, it's really common here to use trash bags to slide down hills. He even pointed to the incriminating evidence, a white plastic bag lying at the bottom of an inclined side street covered in snow. Quite odd to get the question, "Have you ever used vinyl pads to slide down hills?"

Very interesting and well done video. However, it does leave out some of the political aspects, such as the Community Reinvestment Act of the late 1970s requiring lending institutions to make more risky loans (to remove a discriminatory barrier against poor people wanting housing). And, some recent denials of key congressmen that Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac were sound (don’t fix what is not broke).

Sorry about the hospital run! We’ve had some nasty bugs over here this fall, too.

I think the change of coaches is all to the good! Things have been a little complacent on the team, and I think this is a good shakeup!
